Dr. Patil brings his unique background to the All About Braces team. After growing up in the Chicago suburbs, attending University of Iowa for his undergraduate degree, Dr. Patil went on to receive his DDS from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He practiced as a cosmetic and general dentist in Denver for almost 12 years before attending the University of Oklahoma to become a board eligible orthodontic specialist. His experience in advanced cosmetic cases and everyday dentistry gives a comprehensive perspective on how orthodontics and dentistry can work in conjunction to get the most reliable results possible.
Dr. Patil has published research on management of dental stress, anxiety and fear and has received numerous awards and fellowships including the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the International College of Dentists Award and the Denver Top Dentist recognition from 5280 magazine. Dr. Patil is a member with the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Denver Metropolitan Dental Society and the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Patil is married to his beautiful wife, Cherisse, who is a registered dental hygienist. He has two children, Andrew and Ellyana, who may one day become Orthodontists themselves. They love traveling, the outdoors, sledding, skiing, swimming, biking, camping, scuba diving and fishing.
