Orthodontic Treatment in Aurora & Denver, CO

At All About Braces, we are committed to helping every one of our patients achieve a healthy, beautiful smile that they feel great about in any situation. Our doctors and highly trained team of orthodontic specialists strive to design a personalized treatment plan for every patient we see, and we offer a variety of orthodontic treatment methods, including braces and Invisalign, to make treatment convenient for everyone. During your treatment, office visits will be critical to your orthodontic success – and it all begins with your initial consultation.

Your Initial Consultation

Your initial consultation is the first step on your journey towards a new smile, and it's a time for you to meet our team, learn more about treatment, understand your orthodontic situation, and evaluate the treatment options that may be right for you. We'll do a lot at your initial consultation, including:

  • Review your dental and medical history to better understand your situation

  • Take measurements like X-rays and perform a thorough oral exam

  • Evaluate your treatment options and begin constructing a personalized plan

  • Talk over financials, insurance, and payment options

We want you to fully understand your situation and options, so we'll take the time to answer and discuss any questions you may have. Your initial consultation is the first step in your treatment, but it's certainly not the last!

The Next Step

After your initial consultation, we'll take our findings from your orthodontic exam and use them to create a customized treatment plan. We'll also schedule your next appointment, where we'll place your new orthodontic appliance. You can expect this appointment to take about an hour, and we'll work to make it a comfortable and informative visit. With this appointment, your treatment is truly underway!

Scheduling Appointments

During treatment, you'll need to visit us about every 4-8 weeks, although this frequency will vary from patient to patient. We want to make orthodontic treatment as convenient as possible, so we'll strive to make appointments fit into days and times that fit your schedule.

To help keep treatment convenient, we reserve your appointment specifically for you - so we kindly ask that you respect that by keeping your appointments and arriving on time. That said, we understand that "life happens," so if you're running late or need to reschedule, just let us know.

Dental Visits

In addition to visiting us, you'll also have to keep regular appointments with your dentist. You should see them at least every six months for teeth cleaning, and we may refer you for extra cleanings if we feel it's necessary. Dental hygiene is absolutely crucial to the success of your treatment, so it's particularly important that you see your dentist and keep your teeth clean during treatment.
