My name is Karla and I am a front desk receptionist at All About Braces in our Aurora office, where we build confidence in yourself and your smile. I am happy to be part of this great team and have the opportunity to build and expand my knowledge in this field. When I am not at work, I spend time with my boyfriend and family, enjoying numerous types of activities such as exploring for new adventures, sightseeing, and spending an afternoon at the ballpark. I also love to travel. Auntie of a beautiful one-year-old who has rapidly changed my life, I’m hoping soon to be blessed with a family of my own.
Hi! I am a specialized orthodontic assistant here at All About Braces with ten years of experience. Being part of a patient’s journey to a beautiful smile is the best part of this field. From a not-so-confident smile to the removal of braces and can’t-stop-smiling smile is an amazing journey to be a part of. I have two beautiful kids, with whom I spend my time most always. We love doing things outdoors, the beach, and yummy tacos!
I grew up in Vail Valley before moving to Denver in 2011. I began my career in the dental field when I joined the team of All About Braces in 2013. I have learned so much about assisting in patient care, and love helping our patients achieve a beautiful and healthy smile! I’ve continued my education in the field by earning my certificate in specialized orthodontic assisting. When I am not at work, I enjoy outdoor adventures, live music, and spending time with friends.
I have been helping create flawless smiles for five years and I honestly cannot picture myself doing anything else besides that. Bringing average smiles to excellent ones is one of the most incredible feelings to me. When I am not at work I spend majority of my time with my three-year-old son, who fills my heart with warmth and happiness. His favorite thing to do is dance to Michael Jackson music and play at the park. I also make time to play soccer, which is my favorite sport. My favorite soccer team is Barcelona and I admire how well the team plays together.
A beautiful smile is something to cherish. As a certified orthodontic assistant for 16 years, I have had the honor to create a few of these! I also have had the privilege of working with and training some of the very best in the field. Besides the passion I have for my career, my quality time is spent with my best friend — my wonderful husband — and our beautiful baby girl. Together we enjoy warm days at the park or pool with a side of ice cream, or a cold lazy day, wrapped in blankets watching the latest flick!
In 2010, after receiving my certificate in dental assisting, I joined the All About Braces team. In 2014, I became a specialized orthodontic assistant through the American Association of Orthodontists. I attend continuing education classes every year to stay on top of advances in the field. I love helping my patients achieve their best smile and enjoy the relationship I develop with them. I was born and raised in Colorado and love living in this beautiful state. In my free time, I enjoy snowboarding, traveling, and spending time with my pets.
All About Braces has been my second home for more than five years. I started this journey with dental assisting school at Everest College. Thereafter I accepted my first dental job at this wonderful company. I was born in Los Angeles and moved to Colorado when I was two years old, which made this beautifu state my true home. My joys in life are traveling and learning from the vast cultures around the world, and of course the many amazing foods they have to offer. My parents are both from Mexico so Spanish is my first language. I’m certified with the American Association of Orthodontists and love the career path I have chosen. Hands down, nothing beats creating beautiful smiles since they are the true expression of happiness.
My career started when I began attending Everest College in 2010 for billing and coding. I was honored to do my extern hours at All About Braces, and was hired for the Aurora location right after I was done with school. I’ve been part of the team for six years now and I enjoy every moment of it. I’m happy to say that as the receptionist, I am the first person patients and parents get to greet, and I help them schedule follow-up appointments. I love interacting with patients and parents, making sure they receive the attention and care they deserve, and I also help with translating Spanish between doctors, staff, parents, and patients to make sure expectations are met, the treatment is understood, and all questions answered. Other than scheduling and interacting with patients, my main task is handling insurance, whether it is to verify benefits or submit a claim.
I was born in California and moved to Colorado when I was 9 years old and still can’t get used to this weather. My parents were born in Mexico, so Spanish is my first language. I have two wonderful and handsome young boys I love to spend time with outside of work. We like to do many outdoor activities, especially because they are into football and soccer.
